Rescue ADMITS ---> LIVING OFF DONATIONS!

Diana Peters of Death Row Dog Rescue admits to living off DONATIONS meant for the DOGS!

Time and Time again on facebook, on the  radio blog show Truth or Tails   Diana has admitted she lives off of donations people give her for the dogs.   She did it again today !

Please take the time and read this.   Now you may be be thinking, what is the big deal?  She is taking care of the dogs she  can be paid.   YES non profits can give payroll to employees.  She could take a salary - and like the rest of the United States she would pay federal income taxes.   On the Dept. of Agricultures  gift gifters guide  a non profit who is soliciting in Florida gets to denote how much out of the donations is spent where.   For last year she claimed 100%  Administrative, but also told them on the application, no one takes a paycheck.  This year she claims 100% of donations goes to Program Services
.............  hmmm....   WHAT is GOING ON ?

She DOES not take a paycheck.  ....  She just takes the funds!!!

1st Attempt (ever) to Register with Fl DOA to solicit donations

December 2011 - after much pressure to comply, Diana Peters with Death Row Dog Rescue sent in the following incomplete application.  It too several attempts at her 'changing ' things  and to send in the fee
for them to allow solicitation of donations in the State of Florida, only.

I am having troubles getting the application up here and big enough to see.
For anyone who would like to view it please go here: DOA application

Now that's professional - sending in a half filled out application, with some downright 'wrong info', without the required Fee, in the same envelope they sent it to you in.

Here is the 1st Letter of Deficiency they sent her :

2nd letter of deficiency

anyone who would like copies of the application or deficiency letters - Please send an email
to dogrescuegoodbadugly@aol.com  or leave a comment.  They are also available with the Florida Dept of Agriculture - public records.

I apologize I am having trouble with the uploading / sizing of documents .

Now Just who is Diana Peters trying to fool?

Kind donors who support her ?
The State of Florida  ?

She tells her facebook supporters she lives off donations, she tells the state she does not!

Anyone can go look at their directions to fill out the application and it is very clear, no blanks, everything MUST be completed.

YOU BE THE JUDGE

Honest Rescue or SCAM ?

False Statements -Asking For Money = RED FLAGS

Death Row Dog Rescue Raising Red Flags

On any given day, you can go on Facebook and look at Death Row Dog Rescue, and see the posts made on there by sole operator Diana Peters.

Making False Statements, posting old photo's ( not stating they are from years ago),  pointing out they have haters, and need your help, and ask just for $5 , pulling at your heartstrings =  IS a HUGE RED FLAG!

Please look at the post Diana Peters posted this morning and you be the judge.  Do these things concern you?   Should potential donors know the truth?  Did she make any false statements?  Did it pull at your heartstrings?   I think so.

False Statements

  1. Every year I must send into the Dept of Agriculture all and I mean all receipts for all of the money spent to care for the rescues.   The DOA requires FORMS.

  2. These are the authorities that give you certification to accept donations for the animals
False.  You simply register with them, pay a fee, and turn in financial form filed with the IRS. They do not certify you, they do not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation.
  3. I have LOST over $3000 to $4500. each year--Lost which means I had to get the difference from somewhere else  Diana Peters has admitted on the radio blog, and on her FB page several times ( screenshots available or listen to the show)  that she lives off of donations, she has no job for the past 4 years or means of support. * please note: on DRDR last year application she stated no one receives a paycheck. Diana does not make a salary - so HOW does she support herself with donations if she isn't claiming it with the DOA and the IRS ?

  4. In spite of the lies and slander that these couple of Convicted Felons have posted and sent out to most of the people that come onto my page  Diana has on many occasions  stated the convicted felon and named one man has it out for her.  Now in the past two weeks she has added the (s) on and had called people asking her questions on her DRDR  convicted felons by association.  ie: when they asked who her vet was,  asked other questions , or stated the truth.
Miss Peters has done nothing to prove what is being stated are lies. Ironically new people see her scam and comment each and every day, but she merely blames it on a handful of people.

Poor Diana Peters - the victim ( not )

By making false statements Miss Peters is attempting to gain a sense of false trust.

She is stating she is certified by the Florida Dept of Agriculture, Division of Consumer Services   when in fact she is holding an expired registration with them.
By pulling your heartstrings Miss Peters is trying to gain your sympathies, and get you to open your purse strings.

By Miss Peters not complying with statues of Florida and following the required procedures she is BREAKING the LAWS of FLORIDA.

By blaming others for her problems, she is trying to distract your attention from her lies and pull at your heart!

Diana Peters is unethical and immoral and a thief!

That is my opinion, I encourage you to look over

things for yourself and make up your own mind.

few of the comments gathered from  the  original Facebook scam page, and other spots

across the internet about Diana Peters and Death Row Dog Rescue.  True Eye Openers!

These statements and opinions should not be ignored or overlooked.

Here are a few:
  • BG:
Many of us are ex-volunteers of Death Row Dog Rescue and have witnessed her neglect and lies first hand. We are not speculating or spreading vicious lies. We are a group of dog lovers who are trying to put an end to Diana Peters' lies and unethical treatment of dogs and puppies in her "care".

  • KR:
I adopted a puppy from Ms. Peters in July of 2009. He had severe psychological issues from his time spent at her "ranch" as well as serious medical conditions, which if caught early, would've saved me and my family not only a lot of money, but a lot of grief. My husband and I were at odds for a long while because of the condition of our new puppy shortly after we welcomed him into our home; my children were affected also having to see their new best friend, who shouldve been rolly and polly, playful, and full of life, in the state he was in. I had to limit their interactions with him to the point where there was no joy in having him for any of us. Today, he is healthy and well-adjusted and we've finally gotten his severe skin issues under control. It took 2 years! If my story could save another family, someone else's children from the heartache that mine had to endure, then I'm going to tell it 'til I'm blue in the face.

  • NM:

And she claims no dogs in her care have gone to an adoption event without getting vaccines. PLEASE believe that I've personally SEEN puppies come in one day and get bathed and rushed off to an adoption event the very same day. She's careful to say "vaccines" instead of "vetted" because she would self-treat them with expired vaccines (yes - she's admitted she uses expired vaccines). Call me a "perfectionist" but wouldn't puppies that just got brought in off the street (NOT from a shelter) need to be quarantined and examined by a vet and not merely self-treated by Diana before they're taken to adoption events?! Sorry, the only "proof" I have is my own eyes witnessing this...and that's the most convincing proof I'll ever need.

  • TB:
Death row dogs owner needs to be arrested for fraud. I saw with my own eyes she was asking people to chip in for a mom and puppies that she had in boarding. It was a LIE those puppies were at chipley Fl. shelter and she had nothing to do with them. She was NOT rescuing adopting or fostering that family what so ever!!! She never called the shelter at all about those dogs.SHE STOLE THEIR MONEY PEOPLE WERE DONATING FOR THAT FAMILY TO SAVE THEIR LIFE!!! She is a scam POS and needs to be stopped!!! She needs to be arrest for internet Fraud!!

             These are HUGE  RED FLAGS!

Please visit the link  to read more comments that were made in the Fall of 2011.

Where some things have changed ( such as DP moving, getting her registration with Florida

Dept of State reinstated, getting registered with FL DOA to solicit funds only in Florida ( which

is presently again expired as of 1.24.13 ), she has STOPPED claiming to be a 501c3 when

she is not and never was one.   These days she is scamming more on facebook for money and

has less dogs, due to the pressure and watchful eyes of concerned dog lovers.

We MUST  ban together and put an end to this madness.

How many dogs must die (directly or indirectly) due to Diana Peters

actions?
